In reply to Natalie. I completely agree Natalie, sometimes I am unsure whether I really want to visit a destination so spending just a brief amount of time there helps to make that decision for me. Plus, after spending so much time living out of a suitcase, I do like to fully unpack whenever we can. :)

While it’s not the only type of travel I like, I do enjoy a cruise every few years just to change things up. I like that I get little snapshots of the places we dock–I think it gives me a quick taste of each spot, so I can decide if I want to spend the time, money, and effort on a longer trip. Plus, the whole unpacking-once-and-you’re-set thing is seriously appealing. 🙂
