It always makes me smile when I see something familiar, often out of place in a new city. When in Fes we passed by Pizza Hut in the new part of town, which again was a complete contrast to the old medina. 🙂

I think it is more of a tourist element if truthful. It was early in the day when we visited so this may have also been a reason for the lack of people. This side of Marrakech is definitely something I never imagined I would stumble across, as you say, it goes against all the imagines we see of the city.

The skybar looks deserted though, and I wonder if locals go to these bars on top of hotels or if it’s just tourists hanging out there.
