For an occasional treat, this is a fantastic hotel and brand to consider. Everyone deserves a little bit of luxury every now and then, although having said that there are some lovely hostels out there now as well. 🙂

You should have seen my excitement over the book holder – I was like a little kid in a chocolate shop!!! 😀

This was definitely a wow bathroom. I loved the fact that you could also make the bathroom part of the bigger room – often I feel a bit trapped in a bathroom whilst trying to relax so this is the perfect solution. 🙂

If you don’t have a good night’s sleep why would you return. Other than the desire for an amazing bathroom, for me the quality of the bed is paramount.

We are often so busy exploring a city that we tend to forget to explore the place we are staying in. On this occasion however, we consciously decided to stay in and spend time relaxing in the beautiful surroundings.

I agree, it is really difficult to find a hotel that does absolutely everything brilliantly all the time – I suppose everyone has off days!!!

Oh wow, I would absolutely love to have my room hidden behind a bookcase. We once stayed in a hotel that had hidden corridors and bathrooms behind bookcases and I loved exploring! 🙂

I did look to see, and yes you can buy a mattress, if only we weren’t constantly travelling at the moment – I would seriously consider purchasing one. 🙂
