What a shame you didn’t get to see the Northern Lights! After speaking to others, I think it is a hotel that many reach in darkness so I don’t think we are alone in that either and I am glad that you enjoyed it as much as we did. The food was amazing – in fact, across Iceland we didn’t have a bad meal! 🙂

Iceland is a lovely destination and this hotel was a great find, remote but set within beautiful landscapes. Well worth the hour-long trip from the Capital. 🙂

Spent time in the hot tub but sadly didn’t see the Northern Lights – way too cloudy. Love your photos – we didn’t see it in daylight as we arrived and left in the dark!
