I would love to revisit in the summer months when it is warm enough to sit out in the garden and perhaps enjoy the pool and hot tub.

Two of my favourite things – add a nice bubble bath to this and in fact the hotel is a complete winner in my eyes.

When I saw pictures on the internet, I immediately wanted to visit and I am so glad we did. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to visit York.

I agree, there is something very different about staying in a smaller, boutique-style hotel – I like the fact that they are trying achieve something different.

I loved it so much I am now on the look out for a similar one that would fit nicely into my home.

This place has bags of charm, from the smaller bar rooms to the many different room types available. I cannot see how anyone would be disappointed with a stay here.

I had the same problem. I wanted to spend more time in every room we visited.

I agree, you could be lost for hours in the pages of a good book whilst curled up on one of the sofas by the fire.
