What a beautiful place! I love finding accommodations that have charm like this–squeaky floors and all! 🙂 We haven’t made it to Thailand yet, but this looks like the perfect place to stay whenever we make it there!

In reply to Candy. When we arrived we were warned about the mosquitoes by the owner but I think he does that more as a caution than for anything else. He is aware that the moat area can hold them and so didn't want anyone to suffer. He also provides heat repellents for anyone that wants to sit outside in the evening which is a great touch.

I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve been to Thailand twice now and haven’t even heard of this area. Oops! The guesthouse looks like such a charming place to stay. I definitely prefer staying in local accommodation over fancy hotels, even if they’re a little rough around the edges 🙂

That looks like a wonderful place to stay when visiting Ayutthaya. I espectially love how they have a fridge and complimentary water! I will have to keep them in mind if I ever visit!
