I just returned from London a week ago, but, to be honest, I haven’t experienced the gourmet side of the city! I’ve been mostly eating street food and a loooot of burgers! London has THE best burgers in the world, so, as much as I wish I had dined in a restaurant, I don’t really regret anything! 😀

Patti, I am with you. After all it is a staple food to try when in the capital but on this occasion we were glad we had opted for something different and the fish dishes were full of flavour. 🙂

In comparison to some restaurants in London this one is extremely well priced with main varying from between £10-£20. I have known some to charge double that. 🙂

Other than the occasional fish and chip dinner I also struggle with fried dishes and I don’t eat meat so it can be quite a challenge sometimes but there is definitely something for everyone on this menu! 🙂

I recall going to London 8 years ago for the first time and being disappointed with the food (and given the exchange rate at the time, expensive). My subsequent trips got better, especially staying with locals. The menu selection at Apex looks delicious!
